Social Justice Poetry

Witness | A Social Justice Poem by Ananya S. Guha

Atrophy in
a country
is barren, though history
is now less than tautology,
the pickax is a useful
weapon to cut it to size,
so do it till its blood soaks
and becomes a shade less
pale. Less sickly, and we
are witness to troubled times.
