Making My 2018 New Year’s Resolutions Early | A Social Justice Poem by Gil Hoy

If I make enough money, I just might get
A tax break. If I join the 1% and belong
to the right club.

Then, I can schmooze with the right
fancy folk, forget the middle class
joke, nothing more than a pig
in a poke.

Or, maybe, I’ll just become a Pass-Through
Corporation.

And when I do, I’ll make sure
all that extra cash

ps ~ I notice that these comment panels do not facilitate links for which the answer as to why or the resolution as to how may be above my pay grade and in some circumstances may not entirely be a desirable adjunct.

Well, shut my mouth, part way at least! @s & #s remain dormant but certain links, as it now appears, will indeed resurrect like the proverbial Phoenix so, as dear Gilda Radner was prone to remark, “Nevermind”.
